Sip, Print, Paint & Gild Workshop with Allison Sylvester

Sip, Print, Paint & Gild Workshop with Allison Sylvester

£90.00

AT KOKUTAN FLOWER FARM

Friday 5th June 2026
6pm – 8.30pm

As the day drifts into evening, we’ll gather in the glasshouse for a relaxed printmaking session, a space that encourages quiet curiosity, gentle conversation, and unhurried making, with a glass of fizz to sip as you work.

Working on a prepared cradled wood panel, you’ll explore simple printmaking techniques before layering your image onto a background of metal leaf. The contrast of ink against softly gilded surfaces creates prints that catch the light,  quietly luminous and richly textured.

The workshop will be led by artist and printmaker Allison Sylvester, whose practice is rooted in careful making and an understanding of materials. Originally trained in jewellery and metalwork, Allie later completed an MA in Fine Art Printmaking at Camberwell College of Art, bringing a thoughtful, cross-disciplinary approach to her teaching.

No previous experience is necessary,  just a willingness to try something new and enjoy the process.
